Kim Romano is a Manheim Township School Board candidate who combines professional expertise in human resources with nearly two decades of community service. An 18-year resident of Manheim Township, Kim has been an active volunteer in the district for more than 15 years, serving on PTO boards at four schools as well as on recreation and youth sports boards. Her experience as both a parent and a professional leader gives her a balanced perspective on how to support students, teachers, and the long-term growth of the district.
Kim currently serves as a School Board Director in Manheim Township, where she has been a strong advocate for quality education, responsible fiscal management, and policies that serve all students. She believes that a strong school district creates a strong community, and she is committed to transparency, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making that reflects the values of township residents.
Professionally, Kim is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania and has built a career in human resources, organizational leadership, and compliance. She currently works as an HR Consultant with a financial services firm in Lancaster. Over the course of her career, Kim has held leadership roles in organizational development, business operations, and compensation and benefits, and she has helped companies grow by improving processes, managing systems, and developing teams. She is recognized for her ability to build relationships, solve problems, and create a positive organizational culture.
Kim and her husband have been married for 24 years and are raising three children: a senior at Penn State, a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh, and a sophomore at Manheim Township High School. She believes deeply in supporting families, educators, and students to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
