Nate Geesey is a Manheim Township Commissioner candidate with more than 20 years of experience in municipal civil engineering, a proven record of public service, and a strong commitment to thoughtful, community-centered leadership. A long-time resident of Manheim Township, Nate is dedicated to ensuring responsible growth, fiscal discipline, and a high quality of life for township families.
Nate serves as an elected Committeeman for District 20 on the Manheim Township Republican Committee. He previously served on the Manheim Township School Board, where he supported strong public education while maintaining fiscal responsibility. He has also served as Vice President of the Overlook Foundation, working to preserve parks, community spaces, and recreational amenities that enrich township life. In addition, Nate has been active in youth sports as a former director of the Manheim Township Baseball Softball Association.
At the county level, Nate served on the Board of the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, where he helped expand high-demand adult programs in trucking and welding. These efforts strengthened the local workforce while reducing the financial burden on taxpayers through increased enrollment efficiency and program revenue.
Professionally, Nate works for one of Pennsylvania’s top engineering firms, representing townships and municipal authorities on major infrastructure projects. His expertise includes land development, roadway improvements, stormwater management, and capital planning—knowledge that directly informs his ability to address township priorities.
As a candidate, Nate is focused on solving the issues most important to residents: improving traffic flow and safety, promoting responsible development that balances growth with farmland and neighborhood preservation, and exercising fiscal stewardship so tax dollars are spent wisely on essential services. He is committed to transparency, public engagement, and collaboration with residents and community groups to make informed decisions that serve the entire township.
