Paula Landis is a Manheim Township Commissioner candidate and a 10th-generation farmer in Manheim Township, where she and her family operate their historic Manheim Township farm raising beef cattle, hogs, and rotational cash crops. Like nearly half of Pennsylvania farmers, Paula also works full-time off the farm as a licensed real estate agent serving both investors and traditional homebuyers. A former student-athlete at Temple University, Paula’s life has been shaped by faith, hard work, and determination. These values guide her approach to family, business, and public service.
Paula serves as Co-Chair of Government Relations for the Lancaster County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, advocating for local farmers at the state level. She is a long-time volunteer at her church, teaching elementary students and leading adult groups. Civically, she serves on the executive team of the Republican Committee of Manheim Township and recently contributed to shaping the Township’s future as a member of the Comprehensive Plan Committee.
Paula and her husband, Michael, are raising all four of their children in the Manheim Township School District, giving her a personal and vested interest in the quality of education and opportunities available to local families. She enjoys cooking and hosting farm-to-table dinner parties on the farm, bringing together friends, neighbors, and community members over locally raised food and shared values.
With her background in agriculture, real estate, and community leadership, Paula brings a family-centered perspective and fresh energy to every role. Her decision to run for Manheim Township Commissioner is driven by a belief that the community deserves thoughtful, hands-on leadership that listens, acts with integrity, and works toward a sustainable, positive future.
